  ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We have worked in a broad range of cultural settings including Africa, Latin America, the Asia-Pacific region, the Former Soviet Union and First Nations and mainstream communities throughout North America.

This work has involved the following types of activities:

strategic assessment, planning, implementation, training and mentoring, and evaluation of programs and the services they offer,

capacity building of leaders, organizations and work teams to engage local populations as partners in the development process,

capacity building related to improving the effectiveness of collaboration between government and NGOs and PVOs (People's Voluntary Organizations), and

basic research related to uncovering the cultural and historical obstacles as well as the cultural resources (beliefs, practices, protocols, institutions, past innovations, etc.), that ground organizational functioning.
