Worked with United Indians of All Tribes Foundation (one of the largest urban Indian programs in the USA) on organizational transformation leading to greatly enhanced effectiveness and sustainability in the Foundation's work with urban Native people in the Seattle area. (3.5 million dollars raised between 2005-2007)

Ukraine
Worked with a network of voluntary sector organizations spanning three centres in Ukraine to build capacity for human and community development and to re-orient professional practice from service delivery to community development (1999-2002)

Zambia
Assisted Care Zambia, Lusaka City Council and 13 peri-urban settlements to develop a new constitution for community development councils which then made it possible for collaboration to flourish between community leaders, local politicians and international aid organizations. (This work broke a two-year deadlock in which all international donor money was frozen in 2001)

Papua New Guinea
Institutional strengthening for the Department of Home Affairs and Youth of Papua New Guinea, especially the Women's Office. This project was funded by the Asian Development Bank and involved the development of implementation strategies and policies for both national and provincial governments related to the Convention Against All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (1993).
