Getting from Art to Action
Yes, the artists created Spirit Rising, this beautiful art piece because it conveys an important message, but they also wanted to make a financial contribution to the Himat poverty and peace-building work happening on the ground in northern Pakistan. The goal is to raise $50,000.
Here’s how you can help
1. Purchase Spirit Rising for your own collection. The piece is for sale as an art object. Once you purchase it, you can display it wherever you want.
2. Purchase Spirit Rising as a charitable donation. You can contribute the piece to have it put on permanent display in a public place where it can continue to share its message.
3. Collaborate with others to purchase Spirit Rising, which can then be put on display in a venue of your choice.
In all of these scenarios, all the proceeds from the sale of Spirit Rising will go directly to supporting the Himat initiative’s work on the ground in northern Pakistan.
